Garden Snooker Room Bracknell

Aman is a dentist and keen snooker player, but working long hours made getting to the snooker hall increasingly difficult – especially during lockdown.

So he contacted us for advice to see whether it would be possible to create a purpose-built snooker room in his back garden. He discovered that, with us, the answer is always “Yes!”

Full-size snooker tables are big – and they’re very heavy, so the challenge was to design and build a room that was large and strong enough to take the table and still leave room to get around it with a snooker cue, as well as extra space for a chill out area. We ended up building a 7×5 metre Garden Room (even bigger than our standard Elysium model) with Stone Grey composite wood cladding. Naturally, the laminate flooring is very sturdy!

The other usual challenge with snooker tables is getting them into your house. Not a problem here – the panoramic Origin Bifold Doors fold right back to allow easy access.

We finished off with specially-ordered overhead lighting in readiness for the snooker table, which was still on order when we completed the room. We’re looking forward to going back soon to see the table in action.
