Darren and Kate run a construction business from their home in Dorchester-on-Thames.

Their workspace had previously been a large converted shed in their back garden, but it was hard to heat and didn’t give the right impression for visiting clients, so we worked with them to plan and build a new Garden Office that ticked all their boxes.

Comfort and style were equally important for the couple, so the new Garden Office features a triple-insulated timer frame, contemporary Stone Grey composite wood cladding, superior laminated flooring, and subtle spotlighting inside and out. Natural light and ventilation are plentiful, with aluminium bifold doors and vision panels, and heating and cooling are handled at the touch of a button, courtesy of a state-of-the-art LG air-conditioning unit.

To really set the scene, we finished off with a landscaped slate patio area – perfect for entertaining clients on warm days.

The difference is remarkable, and they are now able to run their business in real style and comfort.
