Jake wanted to make a better separation between his working and home life, so he knew exactly what he was looking for in a Garden Room.
Back in November 2022 we ran a Black Friday offer for a new Affordable Garden Room, just as Jake had been searching the internet for ideas to build a Garden Office to better separate his work life from his home life. He called us and had a long conversation with our Sales Director, Stuart Dean, then arranged a site meeting, where they discussed his ideas in more detail.
Taking into consideration Jake’s needs and where the Garden Room could be sited, we were able to fit in a 6.9×3.4 metre Garden Office. Jake chose horizontal redwood cladding, hickory laminate flooring and 1.8m AluK aluminium sliding doors in black. Good lighting, plenty of electrical sockets fast wifi were also top of the list, since Jake’s structure was to be a Garden Office.
With the plans and specifications agreed, be fitted the electrical power and CAT5 ethernet cabling, prepared the ground and built the solid concrete base. Then we built the frame – including the triple insulation that comes with all or Garden Rooms, added the sliding doors and cladding and finished with the Firestone EPDM Rubber Roof.
Jake is delighted that his new Garden Office has freed up space in the house, and lets him get the peace he needs to work.
