Sheridan and her husband work from home in Wallingford, but needed extra space for work and for music tuition.

They researched a lot of companies, but chose to work with us because all of our Garden Room projects are designed and built from scratch, so they had full control over the specifications.

Their garden isn’t huge, and the area to the rear of the garden is close to the road and other neighbours, so good soundproofing was top of the list.

We worked with them to design the 3.5 metre square room to accommodate the piano, desk and bookshelves, then cleared and dug out the area and installed a concrete base.

Our team were on site a week later to start work on the build. The timber was delivered on the first day and the framework erected. Then followed the roof, the horizontal Cedar composite cladding and the 2.4 metre bi-fold doors.

Once the walls were painted and the laminate flooring was laid, they moved their instruments and furniture in, and are now loving their new workplace.
