Garden Gym Studio, Cambridge

Godric and Julia wanted a multi-use home studio and gym.

We designed and built a flexible Garden Room that can be used as an office and meeting room, as well as a yoga studio and gym.

There was a narrow access and a long walk for supplies and materials, but our team are used to hard work and cheerfully cracked on. Since our initial meetings a tree had overgrown the site, so we cut it back with great care before starting the build.

The finished Garden Gym is spacious and airy and has full air conditioning that both heats and cools, allowing for year-round use. The veranda and exterior lighting make it easy for them to expand their exercise space into the garden during warmer weather.

Godric and Julia are very happy with the way we took their brief and exceeded it.

“I cannot praise the New Garden Room Company enough – a brilliant concept. We now have a made-to-measure room to our own specification and design. They used the highest quality materials which are attractive, sustainable and durable. The installation team take great pride in their work and provided the highest levels of workmanship. The whole team were great to have around and were, without exception, outstanding craftsmen. All this was expertly co-ordinated by Darren. It is obviously a time when work habits are changing fast. If you are considering creating more space in your home for work or leisure, then look no further.”
