Garden Bar Games Room, East Hanney, Wantage
Monica and Tim contacted us to discuss the design and build of a Garden Room as a ‘grown up’ space which they could use all year round to entertain their friends and family.
They chose to work with us because they liked that we use sustainable materials, local products and local people. They organised an initial one-hour consultation with Darren to discuss their requirements.
This initial chat was followed up by a Zoom call with James, our designer, who helped add some extra touches to the project, including antique brass finishes and wall lights instead of ceiling lights to make the room less office-like and more relaxing.
Once the plans were complete we started on the build, including a reinforced floor, special lighting for the pool table and a bar area with seating. We finished off with some landscaping to complete the project.
Monica, Tim and their entire family are extremely happy with their new-found garden getaway. Take a look at the picture galleries below to see it in all its glory…
“Once we made the decision to go with New Garden Room Company, everything fell into place very quickly. We were delighted that they listened to our requirements and advised us on what we could and couldn’t do. We were given the date when the build would start and how long it would take and everything worked out as planned.
James the designer helped us decide on colours and we basically could choose exactly what we wanted. The building team arrived on time every day, with a great attitude. They were very pleasant and happy and were meticulous in how they worked.
To say that we are delighted with the result of our Garden room is an understatement. We would highly recommend Darren and all the team who did an amazing job and created a gorgeous space for us to use for many years to come.”
