Michael wanted to create a perfect hangout space for his family and friends.

His wish-list included a bar area with storage, pool table with seating and buit-in mood lighting and speakers to give a real home bar feel.

The space we had to work with was a generous 6.3 x 5.3 metres, but was very close to the boundary fences at the sides and back of the garden. To comply with Building Regulations and maximise space, we designed Michael’s Garden Bar in a non-rectangular shape and used fire-rated Hardie plank cement cladding in the same colour grey as we use for our Euro B composite cladding.

Micheal chose 3 metre Origin bi-fold doors in Anthracite Grey to complement the exterior cladding.

For the interior, we built the bar with mood lighting and installed sockets, speakers, down-lights, and a special light for the custom built pool table. After the walls were plastered our decorating team went in and painted the interior in Michael’s chosen colours – Dulux Moroccan Flame and white.

Michael is over the moon with his new Garden Bar, and his friends are extremely impressed.
